

Amber joined Brown & Kornegay LLP in September 2008. Before joining the firm, Amber was a briefing attorney for the Honorable John S. Anderson of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. As a briefing attorney, Amber assisted Judge Anderson in the drafting of over twenty-five criminal and civil opinions. She also presented legal issues to the justices, attended pre- and post-submission conferences, and attended oral arguments. While in law school, Amber worked as an intern for Haynes and Boone, the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, and the Legal Aid Society of Lubbock, Texas. She was a member and articles editor for the Texas Tech University Law Review and a member of the Student Recruitment Council. In addition, Amber was elected to the Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Fraternity.
